Gregg Oudit, an international business major at William Woods University, has received a scholarship from Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) in recognition of his accomplishments in school. Oudit is a sophomore from the island of Trinidad and Tobago.
Money for the scholarship came from Enterprise Rent-A-Car Corporation, which provided $15,000 to Missouri Colleges Fund to fund 12 business scholarships of $1,250 each at MCF-member independent colleges and universities.
Oudit plays volleyball for the William Woods men’s team. Not only is he a full-time student and collegiate athlete, but Oudit also is a community advisor for Bartley Hall. This has given him a chance to work with a diverse group of students and has aided in the improvement of his communication skills.
He competed at the international level in men’s volleyball while living in Trinidad. Also while in Trinidad, Oudit led a Sunday School class at Faith Centre Church. This was part of an Outreach Ministry program, in which Oudit was given the chance to touch the lives of children from broken homes.
