William Woods University’s Campus Activities Board invites the campus and the community to “kick back for a night” and enjoy the unique music of Brazz Tree.
Brazz Tree is a NYC-based violin and guitar duo that offers an “intriguing style of music, something that you don’t see very often,” said Courtney Yantes, a graduate assistant for Greek life and student involvement.
The New World Acoustic Rock band will perform on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. in the McNutt Student Center. The concert is free and open to the public.
Brazz Tree has traveled and performed extensively throughout the U.S. and the Netherlands, playing at colleges and universities, theaters, clubs, art centers, church coffeehouses, house concerts and libraries. They have also performed at the SXSW Music Festival’s World and Eclectic Music stage in Austin, Texas.
They were also featured on the Relix magazine compilation CD and mentioned in their “Listen Up” section. Brazz Tree has received radio play across the country, including a spotlight on NPR and Acoustic Café as “one to watch.”
