The William Woods University President’s Concert and Lecture Series presents “Red, Hot. . .& Blue,” a high-energy, nostalgic musical journey through the decades, at 7 p.m. March 10 in Cutlip Auditorium of the McNutt Campus Center.
The show has been described as 75 minutes of dancing and singing to six decades worth of music that influenced American pop culture. From ragtime to jazz, big band to disco and rock, the musical tour features award-winning costumes, quick-moving choreography and precise live vocal harmonies.
“What is so special about Red, Hot & Blue?” asks K.L. Moore, entertainment writer for the Branson Daily Independent. “Everything.” The cast, he adds, is “all young, freshly scrubbed, excited and agog with the desire to perform.”
The concert is free and open to the public.
