Roger Wen is the newest addition to the faculty of the Graduate & Adult Studies program at William Woods University.
An assistant professor of education, Wen comes to William Woods from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Okla., where most recently he served as the director of the educational technology center. Previously he was the multi-media instructional technologist.
After receiving a bachelor of business administration and a master of science in human resource development, both from Pittsburg State University in Kansas, Wen earned his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri.
His doctoral dissertation was, “Student Attitudes Toward Fully Internet Dependent Learning (FIDL): Assessment Based on Learning Style.” He will put this interest to work at William Woods as he develops the university’s online courses for graduate studies in education.
Wen is a member of several organizations, including the Association for Educational Communications & Technology (AECT), Higher Education Telecommunication Association (HETA), International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Oklahoma Distance Learning Association (ODLA).
