The Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) has received a $15,000 grant from Commerce Bank to underwrite need-based scholarships at member schools.
The grant will underwrite student scholarships at each of the 16 MCF member schools, including Westminster College and William Woods University. These scholarships will be awarded by the member schools on the basis of financial need.
“The Missouri Colleges Fund is very grateful to Commerce Bank for this gift,” said Mike Backer, MCF president. “This contribution recognizes the importance of education and the significant impact that an educated workforce has on Missouri’s economy.”
