Adrienne Hull of Jefferson City, Mo., a senior at William Woods University, has been named to the 2008 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
The daughter of Tim and LaDonne Hull, she is majoring in communications.
Hull was one of 13 William Woods University students selected for Who’s Who, based on being an outstanding campus leader. A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the students based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
By being listed in “Who’s Who,” Hull joins an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
She is an active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, serving as assistant recruitment chair, house manager and member of the communications committee. She is involved with Student Assembly, a member of the WWU Greek marketing/advertising committee, and was an orientation assistant and peer mentor for freshmen.
She is a member of Order of Omega, Greek honor society; the Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity; Delta Epsilon Chi business organization, and received recognition for her academic accomplishments based on her GPA.
Hull is also active in her community; she has volunteered at the Special Learning Center, nursing homes, animal shelters and Adopt-a-Family.
In the fall she will continue her education, pursuing a master of business administration (MBA) degree.
