Greeks at William Woods University are getting set to play barber, and they invite the campus community and the public to watch some folks lose their hair.
Alpha Chi Omega and Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) are holding their third annual “Hair Cuts for CARDV” fund-raising event at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Fiji house. For a $20 donation to CARDV, anyone can sponsor a person to get a hair cut and choose the way it should be cut.
To raise additional money for CARDV, the students will sell barbeque for $2.
CARDV, the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence, is a nonprofit organization that provides services and support to individuals affected by sexual and domestic violence. They also provide education and leadership within the Callaway County community to help change the societal conditions that cultivate domestic violence.
