Galluadet Professor to Speak on Campus

Kristen Harmon of Washington D.C. will visit William Woods University Friday, Dec. 7, to give a behind-the-scenes view of the History through Deaf Eyes exhibit.

She will speak from 1 to 3 p.m. in the library auditorium about her experience and role in putting the exhibit together.

Harmon, a professor of English at Gallaudet University, obtained her Ph.D. in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She worked as a researcher for the History through Deaf Eyes exhibit, which is on display through Dec. 14 at the WWU campus in the Mildred M. Cox Art Gallery of the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts
