Three Fulton area students have been named 2003 Distinguished Scholars at William Woods University. They are: Cale Fessler and Erin Quinn-Webb of Fulton and Sharon Paris of Kingdom City.
Fessler, the son of Drs. Bob and Paula Fessler, is being honored in accounting; Quinn-Webb, the wife of Shane Webb, is being acknowledged in English, and Paris, the wife of Larry Paris, is being recognized in theatre.
The faculty of various disciplines at William Woods have the opportunity each spring to designate one graduating senior as a Distinguished Scholar. A minimum grade point average of 3.4 is required, but the faculty may consider other relevant academic factors and variables in the selection process.
