Future Farmers of America, 4-H members and all horse enthusiasts are invited to a free equine seminar presented by the MQHA (Missouri Quarter Horse Association)April 30 at William Woods University.
A free dinner, provided by All Star Gas, will be held at 6 p.m. in the Bettina Bancroft Equestrian Center at WWU. Laura Ward, WWU equestrian studies division chair, will speak about the equestrian science program at WWU. Charles Kassing, equine specialist at Purina Mills, Inc., will discuss proper nutritional care. Brent Wright, AQHA, NRHA trainer, will demonstrate the application of reining principles to achieve the trained horse.
