Flauaus Outstanding Senior

Jason Flauaus, a senior at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo., received the Student Alumni Council Outstanding Senior Award at the university’s co-curricular honors banquet, April 21.


The son of Richard and Connie Flauaus of St. Charles, Mo., he is majoring in theatre.


The Outstanding Student Awards are the only awards at William Woods University bestowed on students by the nomination and vote of other students. Nominees must demonstrate academic achievement, campus and community involvement and leadership.


Flauaus was honored for his involvement in numerous campus organizations and service projects, including Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, Jesters, Interfraternity Council, community advisor, campus radio station talent, Echoes newspaper staff. He is an actor, as well as the shop supervisor/master carpenter for theatre productions. He also is president of Fanimals, a group of students who provide spirit at sporting events.
