Fisher Named Distinguished Scholar

Holly Fisher of Kentwood, Mich., has been named the 2008 Distinguished Scholar in Equestrian Science at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo.

The daughter of Ruthann and Duane Fisher of Kentwood, she is double majoring in communications and equestrian science with a minor in business administration.

The faculty of various disciplines at William Woods have the opportunity each spring to designate one graduating senior as a Distinguished Scholar. A minimum grade point average of 3.4 is required, but the faculty may consider other relevant academic factors and variables in the selection process.
