In conjunction with the Fulton Heritage Festival, William Woods University will host “An Art Happening: Artists at Work.”
The university will team up with the Fulton Art League to present live art demonstrations by art faculty and guest artists. The presentation will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts on the WWU campus.
The Mildred M. Cox Gallery, currently featuring an exhibit of the MidAmerica Pastel Society, will be open for viewing.
The public is invited to attend and possibly “try their hand” at art. The show is free, and refreshments will be served.
Participating WWU faculty are Paul Clervi, sculpture; Terry Martin, design/painting; Greig Thompson, ceramics, and Jane Mudd, drawing. The guest artists are Frank Stack of Columbia, painting, and Nora Othic of Brookfield, pastels.
For more information, call Mudd at 592-4201.
