William Woods University’s Legal Studies Department and the Equestrian Law class, will present an informative and educational talk regarding contemporary equine legal issues Tuesday, April 16.
Guest speaker will be Denise Farris, chairperson of her Kansas City law firm’s Equine Law practice group. She will speak at 9:15 a.m. in the Model Courtroom in the Burton Building.
Farris is a partner with Husch & Eppenberger Law Firm in Kansas City, where she is the Farris represents clients on a national basis and is a regular author and presenter on equine law issues. She is also a member of numerous boards and equine organizations, including the American Royal Board of Governors and the Missouri Equine Council.
