Education Honor Society Initiates New Members at WWU

William Woods University has initiated six new members into the Nu Rho Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi education honorary society.

Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society organized to recognize excellence in education. Education students who have completed 60 hours or more and have achieved a grade point average of 3.25 or above are eligible for induction.

The new William Woods initiates are: Crystal Benton of Mexico, Mo.; Leah Hempelmann of Owensville, Mo.; Katie Loehner of Koeltztown, Mo.; Carrie Schrock of Garden City, Mo.; Sally Brandom of Parkville, Mo., and Brynn Elliott of Newcastle, Wyo.

Michael Tan, WWU associate professor of education, is the counselor for the Nu Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Pi.
