Dressage Camp to be Held at WWU

William Woods University will host the Kansas City Dressage Camp, June 23-27. Adults above the age of 21 will attend a four-day instructional program in the dressage style of riding.

 


Riders of all skill levels, and auditors, are welcomed for the program. This year, 27 riders will participate in group lessons, private lessons and evening lectures.

 

The three USDF 4th Level Certified instructors are Sarah Geikie, Vicki O’Neil and Stacey Schettkoe Hastings.Both Geikie and O’Neil are members of the USDF instructor certification faculty, and Hastings is a USDF “L” graduate.

 

Geikie, who is from Lebanon, Conn., has 25 years of experience as a Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) dressage judge, trainer, instructor and competitor. O’Neil, of Meriden, Conn., has been a dressage trainer and instructor for more than 20 years and teaches riders of all ages and levels. Hastings, who is from Mooresville, N.C., has trained and competed horses through the FEI levels during her career.
