Nicole DeWoskin of Chesterfield, Mo., has received a scholarship from Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) in recognition of her achievements at William Woods University. She is a senior, double majoring in graphic design and business.
Money for the scholarship came from Edward Jones, which provided $17,000 for student scholarships on MCF-member campuses. Recipients must be studying in a business-related field and be judged outstanding by the college because of activities and/or achievements at the institution.
In addition to academics, DeWoskin is a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity and serves as the community service director. She also is helping to create an Omicron Delta Kappa chapter, an honorary leadership organization, at William Woods.
