DaimlerChrysler Awards $13,000 to Missouri Colleges Fund

William Woods University and Westminster College have received new scholarship funds, thanks to a $13,000 Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) grant from the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund.


The grant will underwrite student scholarships at the 13 MCF member schools, which will award them to students on the basis of financial need.


The MCF was formed in 1952 as a non-profit corporation. The MCF Mission is to acquire resources to help educate students in its 13 member private liberal arts colleges and universities.


In addition to Westminster College and William Woods University, MCF member schools include: Avila University, Kansas City; Central Methodist University, Fayette; Culver Stockton College, Canton; Drury University and Evangel University, Springfield; Fontbonne University, Maryville University and Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis; Park University, Parkville, and Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar.
