Members of Alpha Chi Omega at William Woods University combined work and pleasure Thursday, April 17, when they visited CARDV, the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence.

As a service project, they did yard work around the CARDV building. Then they had the pleasure of presenting a $1,028 check to the CARDV director, Erica Nanney. The money was raised during the sorority’s philanthropy week in late February.

“I love working with the women of CARDV and seeing the passion they put forth in helping victims of domestic violence,” Brandy Reagan, Alpha Chi Omega chapter president, said. “It makes my heart smile to see the direct impact that our donations/contributions have on this local shelter.”
