Kristina Bright of Fulton has been promoted to creative director at William Woods University, overseeing all graphic design and advertising.
Bright has worked for WWU since 2002, and has been graphic design manager for the university since 2005. During this time, she has designed the alumni magazine for WWU, produced a weekly newsletter of campus events, designed departmental marketing pieces and sponsored a campus-wide photography contest.
Starting in August, she will also be an adjunct faculty member, teaching a marketing course for the MBA program in Columbia.
A graduate of Fulton High School, she earned a bachelor of science in graphic design from WWU in 2002 and a master of business administration from William Woods in 2005. She serves as treasurer for the WWU Callaway County Alumni Association and is a member of the President’s Club.
Bright was the recipient of a “New Professionals” scholarship to a Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) conference, and won a bronze award for Excellence in Advertising with a single print ad at the 2005 CASE conference. She is a graduate of the Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Callaway program and is a member of the board for the Callaway County Humane Society.
