Band to Perform Salute to The Eagles at William Woods

A Nashville-based band called Tequila Sunrise will perform a salute to one of America’s most beloved bands, The Eagles, at William Woods University tomorrow (Sept. 7).

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 6:30 p.m. alongside Junior Lake. It is part of the annual President’s Concert and Lecture Series, which brings top entertainment to campus for the enjoyment of students and the community.

Tequila Sunrise is said to have an extraordinary blend of vocal harmonies and perfect musicianship with which they capture the timeless music that has delighted fans since the 70s.

The six professional musicians bring an amazing amount of talent and experience to the stage, having performed with some of the greatest acts of our time, including Eddie Money, Eric Carmen, Hootie and the Blowfish, Alan White of Yes, Sam Moore and Gary Lewis and the Playboys, to name a few.

All the favorite Eagles tunes are included on the extensive play list, and the audience is sure to get completely caught up in the high energy Tequila Sunrise pours off the stage.
