‘Artist 9’ Senior Show Opens at WWU

Senior art students at William Woods University are
exhibiting their art a final time before their graduation in May.

The senior show runs through April 15 in the Mildred Cox
Gallery of the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts.  A reception will be held 4-6 p.m. Friday,
April 5.  Featured artists are: Erica
Begley, Kelsey Dunavant, Molly Feldt, Hilary Fink, Jessica Hornung, Megan
Lovino, Kierra McCartney, Tara Schulte and Andrew Tritz.

Titled “Artist 9,” the exhibit features the work of the nine graduating
seniors majoring in graphic design, studio art or art education.  They have compiled some of their best work
from their William Woods careers, ranging from photography and digital art to
sculpture and paintings.

Each senior has also prepared a senior project, also
displayed in the gallery.  These pieces
encompass many of the things they have learned during their time at William
Woods.

The Mildred Cox Gallery is open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6.p.m.
and Saturday-Sunday 1.p.m. to 4.p.m.  For
more information, contact gallery coordinator Jennifer Sain at Jennifer.sain@williamwoods.edu or (573) 592-4245.
