Area Students Earn Honor at William Woods University

Twenty-two Fulton area residents have been named to the Dean’s List at William Woods University for academic accomplishments during the 2002 Fall term. They are: Alesha Bailliez, Bethany Campbell, Elizabeth Dunlap, Cale Fessler, Shane Fountain, Virginia Hilpipre, Olive Humphrey, Kristen Lepley, Margaret McTaggart, Megan Means, Ivana Popovic, Joshua Potter, Erin Quinn-Webb, Afton Real, Melissa Rogers, Katherine Speer and Laura Tenney, all of Fulton; Sharon Paris of Kingdom City; Ivy Allen of Tebbetts; Michelle Wekenborg of New Bloomfield; Troy Boulware of Auxvasse, and Ashley Stieferman of Mokane.


To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be full-time and have achieved a minimum 3.6 semester and cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.


William Woods University is an independent, professions-oriented, liberal arts institution serving the educational needs of both men and women. The 170-acre campus is located in the mid-Missouri community of Fulton. William Woods has an enrollment of about 2,000 students. The university offers both graduate and undergraduate degrees in a variety of disciplines in both campus and outreach settings.


Unique programs of study include an internationally recognized equestrian studies program, a four-year American Sign Language Interpreting program (one of only 25 in North America) and a degree in juvenile justice.
