Alpha Chi Honor Society at WWU to Initiate New Members

Alpha Chi Honor Society at William Woods University will initiate eight new members at its spring 2005 initiation ceremony April 24.

Chosen for membership are: Christina Anderson and Desiree Franken, both of Jefferson City, Mo.; Ashley Bibb of Bowling Green, Mo.; Andrew Brooks of Fulton, Mo.; Deven Dougherty of St. Clair, Mo.; Michele Eggen of Centertown, Mo.; Alana Fisher of California, Mo.; Dannielle Hott of Decatur, Ill.; Victoria Leibman of West Hartford, Ct.; Joanna Levy of Clayton, Mo., and Tyler Yates of Marine, Ill.

Alpha Chi is a national honorary society whose objectives are to promote and recognize scholarship and the elements of character that make scholarship effective. It admits to membership students from all academic disciplines, recognizing academic accomplishments and providing opportunity for continued growth and service.

Alpha Chi’s sponsor is Shawn Hull, assistant professor of history and director of the honors program at WWU.
