Active Minds Helps William Woods De-Stress

In preparation for finals, the Active Minds club at William
Woods University recently provided an opportunity for students to mellow out
during an event outside Tucker Dining hall.

The event allowed students to
de-stress before what many consider the most exhausting part of the year,
finals week. Activities included a large art project, bubble wrap to pop, and a
chance for students to slow down in their busy lives.

Active Minds is a student-run campus organization whose goal
is “changing the conversation about mental health.”  Of particular interest to members are mental
illness awareness, suicide prevention and eating disorder awareness.
